World Resources Institute (WRI), in partnership with the NDC Partnership, has launched the Accelerating Climate Transitions through the Subnational Action (ACT) programme. Through ACT, four CHAMP-endorsing countries will be selected to receive targeted, partner-delivered support to strengthen multilevel climate delivery through December 2028.

All CHAMP-endorsing countries are eligible to apply through the NDC Partnership's Request for Support Letter (RSL) process, using the modified CHAMP ACT template. Submissions are due by August 21, 2026, and the four selected countries will be announced at COP31.

This information session will provide a brief introduction to the ACT programme and the RSL application process and offer an opportunity to ask any questions regarding the programme or the submission of a Request for Support Letter.
