Ammonia, a key input in fertilizer production, is essential for agriculture and food production. But currently the ammonia industry is overly reliant on fossil fuel inputs like natural gas and coal. With conflict in the Middle East having snarled supply chains for both ammonia and natural gas, countries like India are being forced to reckon with the sector’s overreliance on imported fossil fuels and ammonia. Fortunately, a number of large-scale projects have been announced in India that aim to produce low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia and fuel the future of the region’s fertilizer industry.

In this webinar, we will hear from industry experts and key stakeholders in the green ammonia and fertilizer space offering their unique perspectives on low-carbon ammonia and fertilizer in India. Our presenters and panelists will discuss the challenges, opportunities, and enabling conditions for scaling up low-carbon ammonia in India with insights relevant across borders.
