Match for Impact: Investing in Ethiopia's Climate Future

Match for Impact: Investing in Ethiopia’s Climate Future will bring together eight Ethiopian climate startups and key investors, businesses, development partners and other stakeholders to explore opportunities to finance and scale locally driven climate solutions. Taking place on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at the Royal Danish Embassy’s new Chancery, the event will spotlight innovations across Ethiopia’s climate startup ecosystem, with solutions spanning sustainable agriculture, clean energy, water and biotechnology.

Co-hosted by the Danish Embassy and P4G, the event will feature startup pitches followed by questions and discussion, giving founders the opportunity to showcase their business models, demonstrate their impact and connect with potential investors and strategic partners. A networking reception will provide space to explore opportunities for investment, commercial partnerships and collaboration to help Ethiopian climate ventures overcome barriers to growth and expand their impact. By connecting promising startups with the capital, expertise and partnerships they need to scale, the event aims to strengthen Ethiopia’s climate innovation ecosystem and accelerate locally driven green growth.
