Country platforms are gaining momentum as a means of mobilizing finance for climate and development priorities. But what are the challenges countries face in making them work?

The Southern Country Platform Research Network, supported by IDRC and Global Affairs Canada, is undertaking the first global demand assessment of Country Platform practitioners across Africa, Asia and Latin America.

Led by Southern research institutions, the assessment identifies the practical challenges, knowledge gaps and research priorities emerging from countries' own experiences, including South Africa's Just Energy Transition Partnership.

Join us for the presentation of preliminary findings and a discussion with country practitioners and international partners.

Help shape a demand-driven global research agenda to strengthen the next generation of Country Platforms.
